China strongly condemns Israel at the United Nations
In this operation, Israel launched a large-scale airstrike on the camps of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon in southern Lebanon, including two in Italy. These camps are important bases for the United Nations peacekeeping force, which is responsible for protecting the Lebanese people from terrorist attacks. However, the attack not only injured two Indonesian peacekeepers, but also attracted worldwide attention and condemnation.
The reason why this incident received such a strong reaction is that it seriously violated the basic principle of international law, which is that no country should use force to threaten or attack the territorial security of other countries and the lives and property of residents. As the highest institution of the international community, the United Nations plays a crucial role in maintaining world peace and stability. Therefore, Israel's actions are undoubtedly a major challenge to this principle and a great insult to all countries committed to maintaining international peace and stability.
In addition, this incident also highlights the complexity of the current international situation. On the one hand, some countries take extreme actions for their own interests and ignore the rights of other countries. On the other hand, international organizations such as the United Nations are also working hard to promote peace and development, but they are still unable to prevent violence in some countries. Under such circumstances, how to ensure the safety of peacekeepers has become a major problem facing the international community.
All in all, Israel's action was a serious mistake that must be thoroughly condemned and held accountable. Only by strengthening international cooperation, increasing the attention of all countries to peacekeeping work, and improving relevant laws and regulations can such problems be fundamentally solved and the lives of peacekeepers can be guaranteed.
